I am all about shoes. This post though is not about designer wedding shoes or colored wedding shoes, this trend post is about alternative shoes to wear at your wedding.
You may choose them for practical reasons like getting married outside on the grass or a beach or purely for comfort ? in fact, you may just like the style but whatever the reason these are the big ones.
Toms ? An American trend {of course} and not just about style and comfort. There is a philosophy behind Toms. Here is the story:
In 2006, American traveler Blake Mycoskie befriended children in Argentina and found they had no shoes to protect their feet. Wanting to help, he created TOMS, a company that would match every pair of shoes purchased with a pair of new shoes given to a child in need. One for One. Blake returned to Argentina with a group of family, friends and staff later that year with 10,000 pairs of shoes made possible by TOMS customers.
How nice is that? You buy one, they give one. So you get a good feeling and good style!
For weddings, they do a whole line of wedding shoes. Get glittery Toms, leather, grosgrain, wedges and a whole load of colors.
Converse ? Chuck Taylors, what ever you call them. You have seen them. They are ever popular and one of my favs for years and years but I won’t age myself here.

With Cons, you can buy off the rack in a big selection of colors or you can personalize them. {did you know that?} Here is one I prepared earlier.
How cute are they. See how I did a little ‘A and P’ on the side, but you can add anything you like and change all of the colors to customize.
Boots – As and where you like. Again, choose them for your own style or because of necessity just pick ones you like!
