This wedding is the epitome of an elegant Southern summertime intimate family affair.
A small open chapel, outdoor afternoon reception, fresh lemonade, lawn games and pure white linens. Perfectly designed by Salt Harbor Designs and beautifully captured by Brent and Amanda of Millie Holloman Photography.
The fans were stamp cut to resemble the lace eyelets in the brides dress.
Guests exited the church to a picnic on the lawn complete with games and great southern picnic foods.
The flower girl’s basket was wrapped in a handkerchief. Lovely idea – and just wait……
For the guest book, they wanted to pull in the handkerchief idea again, so the guests wrote notes on handkerchiefs and hung them on a line. Beautiful idea.
The lace decoration on the cake by Nikki’s Cakes was perfectly in keeping.
This was a lovely intimate family wedding with 25 guests and loads of happiness!
They finished the warm afternoon with ice cream and that beautiful cake!
It was a very warm day but the intimacy of the tent and the freshness of the linens with lace light yellows made the day seem cool and lively.
A wonderful wedding for a lovely couple!
Thank you again to Salt Harbor Designs for the great style and Millie Holloman Photography for the gorgeous photos and of course the bride and groom, Katherine and Chris for letting me share your day.
